In 2013 the National Museum of African American History & Culture approached BET Networks for a donation. Viacom, BET's parent company offered Viacom Catalyst's services as part of that request. Lonnie Bunch, Founding Director of the museum was originally interested in a PSA, after reviewing their branding, we asked if we could pitch them a new logo. They agreed.
